Effective June 19, 2025, Stanbic IBTC Bank has announced an adjustment to its branch-based service fee for the widely used “My Bank Statement” feature. This update reflects the bank’s commitment to enhancing customer experience, streamlining operations, and maintaining high security standards in line with global financial service practices.
What Is the “My Bank Statement” Service?
The “My Bank Statement” feature offered by Stanbic IBTC allows customers to request an official signed copy of their bank statement, which can be sent directly to embassies—a critical requirement for visa applications, travel, and international documentation.
This convenient service eliminates the stress of manual submissions and ensures statements are verified, tamper-proof, and embassy-ready.
New Pricing Structure
Starting Thursday, June 19, 2025, the revised fees for this service will be:
₦5,000 flat fee, plus
₦20 per page
VAT exclusive
This is a shift from the previous flat fee of ₦1,000, reflecting the additional investment in technology and personnel to ensure the highest standards of delivery.
Why the Fee Adjustment?
Stanbic IBTC noted that this change is designed to support continuous innovation, data security, and service efficiency. By upgrading the infrastructure behind request processing, the bank can better meet the needs of thousands of customers who rely on verified bank documents for global transactions.
